This happened when one of the solder joints inside my alternator went bad (the one to the stud that the blue wires attach to. Eventually the alternator stopped chargine altogether.

It was also accompanied by some of the lights staying on all the time though.

It could be a ground connection.

My oil temperature gauge isn't working. It stays at the same place the whole time I drive my M3. Also, my coolant temp gauge is working, but it jumps around, and I suspect that there is also a problem with this. Does anyone know how to fix this?
