I read that it is a perfect fit but has anyone really tested its reliability? I mean on the track or high rpm driving. Thanks.

With 120K mi, and supposedly an e30 replacement chain tensioner done 10000 miles ago, my engine was intermittently (at start-up) rattling the chain. Putting in this tensioner made a big difference. No more rattles, engine smoother, I swear it seems more powerful - maybe timing is better. Makes me worry, though that I should replace chain and sprockets, etc. I just don't have $1500 for that now.
