I am sure all of you have heard of our Chicago area BMW meet. As planned the meet will be taking place rain or shine (we have shelter). Below I have listed some important facts, to insure a wonderful Saturday.
Who- All BMW owners, large and small, young and old.
What- Food, discussion and I am sure some wonderful eye candy (in the form of cars…. Of course) I also suggest bringing any parts you would like to trade or sell, treat it like a swap meet(BTW I need a AFM bad) If you feel obliged we will be accepting donations for the food, and the park area rental. If you also feel led to bring some food, great. We suggest if you bring food maybe more of the snack type as we have already picked up a bit of meet already. Then again anything you can bring is great.
Where- Chain O’ Lakes State Park
8916 Wilmot Road
Spring Grove, IL 60081
When- Saturday September 8, 2001. The meeting starts at 11:00 and will go until we want to leave.
Why- Why not, can you give me one good reason you shouldn’t come. Here is a list of reasons that might fly but my responses to those.
What if it rains?
“We have shelter!”
The drive is to long.
“Ohh my gosh, that is probably the worst on, you drive a BMW and obviously if you found out about the meet meaning your are a bit enthused about your car and should even be more enthused to take it out of the city or to new roads and enjoy your ride”
I can’t afford it.
“If you can’t afford the gas I will give you 5 bucks if you really need it for gas”
I have to watch the kids.
“What is a better environment to bring the kids along than a BMW meet?”
My wife wants me home.
“Ouch rough being you then”
