there is a thin steel clip which holds the lock cylinder aginst the door skin you need to take the door panel off and peel the plastic sheeting back to acess the lock, take a stubby flat screwdriver and apply enough pressure to "snap" the clip out. !!!remember how to put it back!!!

my car is being painted tommorrow, and i would rather have the locks taken out of the door, instead of taping them. i can't find any screws, how do they come out?
