my carbon fiber hood came today and went today : ( (archive)

I recieved my carbon fiber hood today, but unfortunetly I also had to ship it back today too : ( the hood looked great and couldn't wait to put it on, but then I noticed that it had 3 runs in it on the front of the drivers side. one was 14 inches, then 2 inces away was another that was 12 inches, then another 2 inches was an 8 inch smudge. there was also a crack at where the mounting clamps bolt onto the hood by the fuse box.

I talked to the guy at GMG and he was very understanding and tole me to ship it back without a hesitation and said that he would make a new one and have it out in a week or so. too bad, my BMWCCA group was hoping to see the hood at out auto-x tommorrow.
oh well, i'm done venting now
