I can't see the cops - the view is shaking! - is there a better rear view mirror I can buy for the E30?

There us actually a little rubber washer that gets jammed between the mirror and the windsheild, I think. I've never been able to find it on the parts CD, nor have the dealerships I've been to. I've tried making one with a regular washer and some double sided tape but never get it to fit just right.

Let me know if you guys find anything that works well,
