I'll be happy to run either one of my six cylinder e30 m3s against your's any day...they are more drivable with smooth power all the way through the rpm range. I think the s14 is a really fantastic motor, but the late six is perfect for the street. Race teams over there are snatching up quite a few of the e30s and have the backing to pay a premium...just the way it goes.

No, dont buy his because he`s dumped an S50 into it. S14`s all the way :) (back me up someone). OKay I`m parlty joking but dont understand why someone would do such a conversion only to sell the car after butchering it.

Actually, prices in Germany a year ago were quite low but yes to get it up to US spec would cost $$$$$$. From what Ive been told DECENT M3`s in Germany for sale are hard to find now so prices might be on the way up over there (just guessing here).
A local specialist who used to mainly deal with E30 M3`s (importing them from Germany) are dealing more and more with E36 M3s now

I think that would find that e30 m3s are going for a premium across the pond...not to mention paying silly money to have the thing pass DOT here. You should just buy mine :) Chris

Has anyone thought about buying an e30 m3 in Germany and shipping it to north america? I'm sure you would find some good deals on m3's there. Just wondering
