Have you tried the adjustment knob (for lack of a better term) on the back of the mirror? If you are not familiar with what I am talking about, there is a post that sticks out of the back of the mirror that can be turned to tighten the mirror against the windshield. It is very easy to see from the passenger seat. I think you turn it clockwise if looking at it from the seat and it will tighten up.
