Factory alarm systems did come with the cars, but were installed by the dealership. Remove the glove comparment (box) and if your car was equipped with an alarm the alarm control module (brain) might have been hidden in that area.


Couple of quick ones:

1) What are the little orange boxes that sit next to the front strut towers inside the engine compartment on each side? They have an electrical connection and have stamping on them pointing to the front of the car.

2) Did the late M3s come with heated windsheild wiper sprayers?

3) Was there a factory alarm that when with the remote entry system?
