at full lock to the right, it screeeeeeetches, and under slow rolling turns it groans badly. I just replaced the tie-rods less than a week ago, unfortunetly becuase of school, I have not had it properly aligned. could i have messed up my steering rack when putting the tie rods in?

also, I've heard that a e36 M3 steering rack will fit, is this better? cheaper?

is replacing a steering rack a do-it-yourself, or leave it to the pro's job?
