i agree w/ the earlier statement w/ the groaning-it could be your power steering pump-have you ever ran it dry by any chance? also check the bushing that holds your steering rack to the crossmember area-sometimes oil/power steering fluid gets to this area and deteriorates the bushing causing it to loose alignment or sloppy steering-it should be really tight.....you can put the car on a lift,start it and turn it to full lock to lock while watching things underneath the car-this was from experience-mine turned out to be the bushing....hope this helps and good luck...rob
