There are 3 aluminum fittings (90 degree bend) that should be checked to see if they are loose. The larger one is press fit into the front of the air plenum and can work loose (very bad at high RPM). The other two are on top of the intake manifold (if I remember correctly). The large one was tight but the other two I could turn meaning they were leaking. I used some Loktite sleeve retainer on these. Also while I was in there I replaced all my vacuum lines. You should also check your idle control valve. You can tell if it's alive by turning on the ignition without the engine running and it will make a buzzing noise. It's located under the intake manifold towards the front of the engine. Good luck.

okay, im taking my car to a shop up in palo alto. I am having my intake manifold gaskets fixed( hopefully to cure my rough idle once the enginge heats up) Is there anything else that i should have looked into that any of you guys have had done to your cars? Please give me your info? Also a few weeks ago i had all new spark plugs, wires, belts, and hoses put on, so that area is ok.
Thanks,
