okay, im taking my car to a shop up in palo alto. I am having my intake manifold gaskets fixed( hopefully to cure my rough idle once the enginge heats up) Is there anything else that i should have looked into that any of you guys have had done to your cars? Please give me your info? Also a few weeks ago i had all new spark plugs, wires, belts, and hoses put on, so that area is ok.
Thanks,
Gerald Williams
1990 M3the timing chain should be replaced at around 100,000 miles and the water pump, of original, should also be checked out if it is making any unusual noises. Check the mass air flow boot too-if it's cracked it can cause the engine to run rough.
