Barry, I have the same problem. What switch are you speaking of and where is it located. I have already replaced the resistor.Thanks.

Just fixed the wires that go into my thermostat housing, I believe it is called the thermofan switch that the wires plug into. Well I'm not sure I have plugged them in the correct position because my fan did not come on when I took it for a ride tonight. At what point on the temp guage should the fan turn on to the lower speed? I know the fan works because when I turn my A/c on it starts to spin. Looking down from the passenger side I have the black wire plugged in the top, brown/black plugged into the bottom and green/black plugged into the far side. If anyone can help out please let me know. Maybe someone can go look on the car for me.

I just replaced my switch today. The low speed kicked on a little above normal operating temp. I had to replace the resistor and the switch to get my auxiliary fan working again.
