Valve Adj. is EASY. Once you try it, you will know. I'm a programmer by training.. and just a begginer mechanic--M3 is first car I'm really wrenching on myself. I had NO problem w/the v-adjust.

All I did was print out Gustave's instructions and follow step by step.. easy as pie.

I feel you. No offense...just that I think discretion is the better part of valor here. Aren't you an aircraft mechanic by training? It *might* be easier for you to do valve adjustments than for the rest of us!
