Recently took 2nd & 1st place in the ///M class and Vintage BMW at local BMW show. Undeniably, one of the best E30 M3s on today's market. I use it as (almost) daily transportation and it has performed flawlessly from day one. If you're in the market for an E30 M3 then this is your car!
I will consider offers above $17,500. Selling due to need for a larger 4 door car. Note that I'm willing to consider partial trade + cash towards a BMW 4 door E-36 M3 , BMW E39 540i , or an Audi S4.
Note that I'm not looking to give this car away, so no low ball offers please. Interested individuals can email me at anporta@dc.com or call and leave a voicemail at 704-887-1828.
I'll take a crack at this one. To me 18k sounds like a pretty good amount to spend. With that you can be pretty sure you will be getting an excellent condition car. In a previous thread Kevin posted his car for sale for around 19k I believe and it sounded like one of the best on the market. You could buy one for 12- average it seems- and put money into it or you could buy a high spec low mileage car and go from there. It would be less of a pain to buy the one costing more as a cheaper one will invariably cost more in the long run. My advice- buy the best you can afford and work from there.

I'm selling my e36 and want to get an e30. I want the most reliable car I can get for $18k. Should I look for a low mileage car for about that price or find a physically sound car for a good deal and use the money I save to have it sent to korman or some place like that for an engine rebuild and any other work that need to be done. Also for this kind of project is $18k enough or am I getting in over my head. I will end up spending more over time but want to keep it under 18k to start.
Thanks, Sam
