Having owned both, I can say I like the 911 better.
The M3 is much more rare - YES ,
more comfortable - YES,
faster in almost every way - NO WAY,
everything works better- especially A/C, power windows & headlights - Maybe...
there is some intangible feeling that a 911 has. . . that can't be explained without driving the 911.. maybe its the sound (and torque)of that flat 6, maybe its the beautiful shape. Maybe it is the instant regognition. I know I will never sell my 911 because you can't substitute it with anything else. This was and still is a MASTERPIECE. New 911s are too generic, just like e36 m3s....
I love my m3 just as much, but it is different
