... it's cooling when you drive cause the air is going thru the radiator. when you stop no air is being drawn thru and it will get hot. I'd check the fan clutch.
HTH, Chris

My car stays nice and cool, while I am driving.

When I stop for a couple of minutes, my coolant sensor gauge starts rising. It will keep climbing unless I turn on the heater, which then it will not go any further. If I start driving, it will cool back down.

What could this be? I have a new radiator, I am thinking it is the water pump or the thermostat. I have a slightly loose expansion tank cap, but I don't think that it is the problem.

Also, I still haven't solved my dead oil temp gauge. I don't know where I should look for a grounding wire. Any help on this would also be appriciated.

Thanks for the help.
