try your ICV and ultimately ECU. Jack S. has more info on the ICV and ECU problems. I'll see if I can light a fire under him to complete his write-up on his previous electrical problems and what he did to solve them. :^)

Take care.

Has anyone experienced this problem before, my car is difficult to start and when it does it will idle ok but if i press the accelerater a little bit and hold it the revs will rise then drop again, it will do this a few times and then the engine dies and doesn't want to start again. I've looked for any loose connections but can't find any, it was running fine the other day. Can any one help?

I'm thinking I may have shorted something out when I replaced the alternator bracket bushes, as I did my usual trick of forgeting to disconnect the battery till half way through, any ideas what it could be or if it is possible to short someting from the alternator.

Thanks
