The Schrick job is not too bad, obviously best time to do it is when you are considering timing chain etc. (They are working up a deal for me at the mo.)
seems like those bexeley boyz do good :)
How much slower was the car on 17`s? and how much faster than a std car was a bexeley 2.3 with schricks (not evo II with schricks).
i bet the schrick cam job is expensive, especially if u do the chain job and haed porting (or polishing) with it.......worth doing if any uk folks blow and need to rebuild an engine though
Nice and slow too. Anyone seen the latest Performance BMW mag. Little track test in there, three of the cars I know. One that had 17"'s,
0-60 on a calendar.....(he's now going to throw those away) The two Bexley Motor Works cars fastest....EVOII and 2.3 with Schricks.
The car with the DTA management defies belief. But just goes to show that even with all the right bits if the job's done badly it won't work. Why have they estimated the power, if it was set up on a dyno, which is the only way, the should know exactly how much power.
do you have?
I have 214/45/17 and I recently compared my car to another E30 M3 running stock wheels and my car looked like a 4x4 is was so high.
