It's an easy retrofit. All you need is a complete system out of any E30/E28/E23. There were two systems, with the change over date being 9/87. You need all the components from the same system, but either will work.
The harness is totally independent and not real hard to install, especially on your pre air bag car.

My car is an 87M3 imported to UK from Germany last year, it does not have cruse control. Can this be fitted easly or am I wasting my time thinking about it?
