Did you check to see if the wires are going into the thermoswitch that goes into the thermostat? There should be three wires going into it (black, brown/black, green/black). If the wires are fine it could also be the thermoswitch itself. All you need is the special connectors and some wire. But when I was at BMW we could not find just the connectors. So I had to buy the $60 kit which comes with 10 different wires and connectors. I also bought a new connector $3 because mine was damaged. I'll get you the part numbers tonight. I may still need the thermoswitch but my car hasn't hit the 3/4 mark since I fixed the wires.
