the car was bought from an M3 specialist, and they provided the warranty. It didnt cover general wear and tear (like pads and diskcs etc) but covered failures. SO I made sure the wear and tear things were thoroughly checked first before buying, so the chances were that if anything went wrong it would probably be a failure (and a warranty claim :) )


Just wondering. I checked the major 3rd party warranty companies and they would only warranty a car as new as a 94.

I'd like to get an E30 M3 with some warranty coverage.
