I got rid of my AFM a different way that is more tuneable. I'm using a throttle position sensor and a MAP sensor plus a tuning box. I can tell you this for sure. The car loves it (dropping the restrictive AFM) and it makes the motor feel like it is larger and with sharper throttle response. Gigantic street driveability benefits. Less need to downshift and just plain faster. HTH.
