I found the install easier to complete than as described in that post. I just screwed the new one in a turn or so, backed it off until the plunger slot self-indexed (click) and then screwed it in all the way. I tried to do it as described but I preferred my approach. Try the other if one doesn't pan out for you. Excellent cheap mod.
