I'm replacing the bushings on my alternator b/c the old ones were very worn. I got one side in ok, but when I put the dowels in they push out the other side. So now one bushing is in with the dowel and other bushing halfway in. Any suggestions on how to get it all the way in?
TIA
Clayton clayton,
do you have the alternator out of the
Car? if you dont i sugest that you take it
out. use a C- clamp to compress the bushing
to the guide then replace the retainer.
take note of the position of the bushing
or belt miss alignment will occur.
