2.5L conversion life expectancy? (archive)

Hey,
im thinking about locating an e30 with relativly higher miles (80k+) and completly rebuilding the engine and also doing to 2.3 -> 2.5 Evo3 conversion on it. I was wondering what kind of expectancy i can look to get out of this engine, it would mostly be for limited driving, (sunday rides) and track sessions. im wondering mostly if this engine with the conversion is going to last me a relativly long time, or am i going to have to tear it down and rebuild it every 5000 miles? thanks.
