Gustave has all kinds of info posted. I know he believes in running at least some high octane gas when at the track. I mix Sunoco 94 with unleaded 100 I buy at the track because the engine spends so much time bumping up against the rev limiter, and it has no anti-detonation software. Most people think this is the reason they fail. Also, you might watch which pistons you choose if you rebuild. It seems a lot of people use a 13.5 or something like that, which seems awfully high to me. I have an EVO 3 2.5 I bought overseas, and that will go in this winter. I am still not sure if I will leave it totally stock or not. This car only goes to the track and back home.
