cam timing question! (archive)

I have the euro cam gear on my m3! I like the mid range feeling it provides for all around driving! Yet, this is not the best setup for track and spirited driving! I have seen some adjustable cam gears aviable for the s-14. Has anyone used the adjustable cam gear in place of the euro exhaust cam gear? I would like to use the 1 gear to adjust the timing as I please from stock to -3 deg as the euro gear is. Is this a easy adjustment? How long would it take me to adjust the timing? The gears I have seen have the timing marked on them so it seems like It would take about an hour or so to make the timing swap?

Anyaz, just an idea I have been thinking about! Any help is appreshiated!!
