I have considered this as well. I now have a 2.5 bottom so the torque issue took care of itself.

The EVO II gear is designed to move the torque peak down in the rev band some where you can use it.

Once torque peak starts to fall then HP takes over to continue your power. The question is where does torque fall and what does the HP curve do from there.

If you are not racing full time then leave the gear alone. YOu will be better served to buy a couple more drivers schools w/ the $ spent.
