Has anyone used the adjustable cam gear in place of the euro exhaust cam gear? I would like to use the 1 gear to adjust the timing as I please from stock to -3 deg as the euro gear is. Is this a easy adjustment? How long would it take me to adjust the timing? The gears I have seen have the timing marked on them so it seems like It would take about an hour or so to make the timing swap?

An hour should be just enough to change the cam timing. You will need to pull the valve cover, and either the distributor, or the cover plate, depending on which side you plan to adjust.
I have personally not found it necessary to remove the cams in order to swap the gears.
