i have the same problem you have mine's a 90 w/ 170k miles-engine rebuilt by previuos owner 5k miles ago but blew the gasket(weird) anyway , bought the car for cheap and presently undergoing the head gasket replacement-definitely need the koala cd w/c i'm using and the proper tools-i'm down to removing the cams now but,stripped the bolt for the chain rail guide so(see my post-help)-lots of work here but fun! hey it'll save me close to $1000 if i do it on my own.....
btw i have an extra koala cd if you're interested...rob
