ya ever hear of the evo 2,3 son? (archive)

I can see why. If I owned a e30 with its 25 stock HP I would not be able to stand having a cadillac STS driven by some blue hair pull on me. I don't drag, am not caught up in all the quoted 0-60 time etc, etc, but if I have a "sports car" it better be able to out run a cadillac driven by some old lady try to block me from getting to my exit.

As far as the euro motor for the E36, there are many accounts saying the US version is better for speeds less than 80MPH...more torque, quicker.

Do you have any other points other than the one on top of your head?
