I am not sure if I will be able to deal with the loss of low end torque like I have in the e36. Whats your opinions on this?

I do miss the torque but not that much. The E30 is a _drivers_ car. The E36 is much more isolated and refined (even my lightweight). The E30 is a hoot to drive around a race track, the E30 is fun to drive around a race track. E36 is nice, E30 is better. Sure it's less refined, it's buzzy, the power isn't there (just means I need to be a better driver and carry more speed with me on the track) like it is with the 6 cyl.

I sold my Lightweight and am keeping the E30M3.
