Start with the cheapest and most likely fix.....the relay that feeds the ABS control unit. It is a relay (1" cube) mounted on top of the control unit under the dash, just above the driver`s left leg. If you take the cover off the relay you`ll see a little wire on one side which is a fusible link, rated at 9 amps, I think. If that`s the problem, the link will be melted in two. Some guys have just soldered in a small wire, but then you don`t have protection for the control unit. On my car, I soldered in a link out of a 7.5 amp fuse. If I wasn`t so cheap I`d have paid the $30 or so for a new relay. The problem usually happens when jump starting the car.

and my ABS deffinatly does not work, I tried. is there just something that I need to replace , or wht should I start with?

thanks guys
