In Reply to: O2 Sensor Check... How? posted by George on November 24, 2001 at 21:16:13:

1) Fuel injectors leaking or stuck open
2)Fuel pressure incorrect (pump or regulator faulty)
3) Coolant temp sensor faulty
4) Idle speed control system faulty
5) Air flow sensor flap binding

Is there a way to check to see if an O2 sensor is working properly? I'm running quite rich and wondering if replacing the sensor will help.

I asked my someone at a local dealer a while back and got: the check engine light will come on.

me: Um, e30 m3's don't have check engine lights.
them: Yes, they do.
me:riiiiiiight.
