Of course the E30 M3 is rare (especially if you're anywhere but Germany), are you joking? How many do you see in a day, week, month or year for that matter out just driving around? You "rarely" do, right? It may not be AS rare as another car but what does that matter? How many of those E30 M3s (that you found for sale) were in your community at any given time, probably a very small fraction or in other words it's "Rare" to find one (not to mention a good, clean one) in your community for sale is usually the case. Just my .02

Hmm.... I guess it depends upon who you hang out with..... The right yuppie crowd of up in commers... or the guy who lives in the sticks and hasn't seen a BMW in years....

So, if you live in S. California.... E30 M3's are farily common (especially as CCA meets where they usally out number the 2002's). If you live in Fargo, ND? Maybe they are....

Even then, I live 1 hr away from a major city..... every time I visit the "up and coming" side of town I usally see several E30 M3's being driven around and usally by sub 23 year olds. Being they can't afford a E36 M3 yet (or at least their parents can't)..

So rarity of an item depends upon where you live? I thought the world was now linked by the internet.... making it smaller not larger.
