My car is under a cover and in my garage. So it would be a pain to start it every so often. And you would have to let run for a while to fully recharge your battery. I just bought a $150 Optima Battery for it so I want the thing to last.

I did some resaerch and the only tender worth buying is by Deltran (Bettery Tender Plus). It is not trickle charger so it won't ruin your battery. What that means is it is not a constant charge. It has a program built into it to know when the battery is full and then it reduces its charge to very minimal output.

I got it on ebay for 52.95 with shipping. From ebay name Roadkingal, highly reccomended but only accepts MO. I just checked and he has some up for auction now.
