I love real world testing and tuning. It's a big part of how I got my M3 to run so well. You can really optimize your settings and distinguish those parts that are effective from those that aren't. IMO the g-tech come up a bit short in that department. It's too inflexible and you can't avoid mixing driver skill with actual changes in the car's performance. It's much more effective to do speed to speed or datalogged testing. Such as is possible with a Vericom or Race Technology AP22.
