If there was previously an alarm installed on the car, there may be wires shorting out. This happened on my car. The wires were under the steering column toward the outside of the car. You might want to take off the panels under there (not hard at all) and poke around. See if there are any exposed wires. I didn't have any problems but I found out by accident when I went to cut a couple of extra wires that were inserted into one of the harness connectors and I inadvertently connected them. Each time I connected them, my doors would lock or unlock. I just put some shrink-wrap on the ends.

Recently experiencing that my power door locks have a mind of its own. Sometimes doors will lock/unlock on their own.Any help???Thanks
