The point I was making was that the amount of power lost through the drive train would be the same amount of h.p. regardless of engine power.

If you took a stock engine and ran the #'s then bolt on a Sport Evo engine that the drivtrain loss of power would be the same amount not a percentage of the power made by that engine.

Would I lose 170 h.p. if I had a 1,000 h.p. engine so that the reading at the rear wheels would be 830 h.p.?

I don't think so.

The message was not meant for anyone in particular but the lack of knowledge and understanding on this board at times can be laughable.
