So, do you know if the 320is is the same as a 325is or 318is but with the de-stroked S14? Or does it have other M3 stuff?

I'd be interested to know why they didn't just offer de-stroked M3s.

This was built as a 2 liter to beat a hefty tax on cars with over 2.0L displacement. It is a de-stroked 2.3L engine. Bore is 81 or 80mm vs 2.3L/84mm stroke. 96HP/liter is incredible.

320is this car is only build(88-90) for italy and has a 2litre S14 engine with 192ps and non cat.
There were only 5000 cars build by the motorsport GmbH
