There have been CF Airboxes only (no airhorns) that bolt to the stock AFM & airhorns.

Gustave has one of [3] that were built in Europe by some mfg.. I'm sure there are others, but they are rare. Gustaves Airbox also has an increased danger of causing a lean condition (ex. blown engine). This is caused by the large matting surface between the plate on the airhorns & the airbox. Proper installation is critical. That is way the "race" airboxes also include the airhorns (smaller matting between the airhorns & the throttle bodies).

The other issue w/ the "race" airboxes (aside from engine management changes). Is the size & shape of the airhorns. All "race" airboxes should have longer & larger airhorns due the the high RPMs used on a race track. Putting a "race" airbox on a somewhat stock 2.3L or 2.5L S14 motor would really reduce most street driving conditions.

Last but not least is the price. If your trying to buy a carbon airbox/ahorns or just the airbox for less than $750 or so, good luck. Yes you can buy them for less than that on a Honda / Acura because there are 50,000 or more of those cars in the US (Big Market). For an E30 M3 there are less than 10% of that number available in the US (very, small market).

The factory carbon fiber airbox for an E36 M3 were priced at $1,800 or so & there there are over 15,000 E36 M3s in the US.

Be careful of what you wish for...
