I have fitted these units to my car some 45,000 miles ago and just today have purchased a new pair to fit as they are leaking slightly. I have never fitted any sealant and they have run OK for these 45,000 miles. One thing to watch for is the support rubber under the accumulator this fails and causes all the weight of the inlet to be placed on the intake rubbers. Replace this unit if even slightly worn. Heavy duty versions are available from places like "Korman Autoworks" and "Turner motorsport". Hope everything goes well!
