It's driving me nuts. The car has this humming sound that seems to be coming from the front. I almost think it may be the Wheel bearings. Or, could it be the strut bearings? I would imagine those would only make noise when you turn though.Have Any of you delt with this? and what did you do? Thanks in advance. I experienced this on my '95 Nissan Maxima, not my M3. It was a loud constant growl that showed up around 25 mph and above. The growl changed in pitch and volume when I turned the wheel.
It turned out that my right rear wheel bearing needed replacement. I know this wasn't on an M3 but that could be the cause of your noise.
