I looked at an E30 BMW M3 today and I just wanted to share with you guys what happened. Let me know what you think about this person.

He initially listed the car here at the forum for sale and on ebay with a reserve price. His deal was to make a reasonable offer which I did and he accepted. Then when I went to see the car today, test drove it, the story begins..

After done testing the car, the seller now changed his mind and was asking for more? He started saying I added this and that, didn't you feel the power of the car?, etc. Then at this point, he said I think the car is worth more, much more that what I was selling it originally.

Please do not offer your car at a price that you would change later on thinking that the buyer would get baited into doing. That's what I felt and just wasted my time as well. "You are not a man of your word" that's all I can say.

Just to let you know, there are 2 M3's I'm looking at and I'm sure you'll find them advertised on the internet. One is a 1991 asking for $ 10,950 and an 1988 for $ 9,000. Both accdg. to private owners are mint.

Mr. Seller, I just want to wish you good luck in selling your 1988 car at the price you want. Honestly, I don't think that your car is worth more than $9.-9.5k.

If the body and paint was really nice, I would've offered more. (dent on fender, dents on passenger door, cracked rear valance, bent rim, ripped headliner) Plus, your M3 is just as fast as others.

been resolved in e-mails or in person like grown adults. This is very immature. I am sorry but the supposed buyer is very childish for posting his business here for everybody to read and try and attack the other person. I do not know the supposed buyer or seller. These are just my opinions. All this does is take up space for good things to have been posted. If a seller wants to sell, he will sell. If not, he wont. He is in no way obligated to sell something that belongs to him. Remember, it's his. If the supposed buyer's feelings are hurt, stop being a wuss and just go and look elsewhere. There are other M3's for sale. There are plenty out there. Let's not opinionize on a matter that has nothing to do with us but the seller and the supposed buyer. Remember that these are just my opinions and my opinions only.
