By the pictures it looks like a 90-91 because of the airbag, and steering column panel. It probably doesn't have pop out rear windows either, correct? My guess is that somewhere along the line the headlights were converted to Ellipsoid or this is a late 89 built car that happens to have ellipsoids and an airbag but I've never seen this.
