Interior lights? (archive)

Another stupid question from me (sorry!). I can't figure my interior lights out. They seem to both work in the 'constantly on' position.....so I know the bulbs are ok....but can't figure out why the don't come on and off with the doors opening....or maybe I've just got the switches in the wrong position?....what position should they be in? Can't be bothered to sit in the car for ages figuring it out..it's too bloody cold out there!
