Price varies. Beginner days can cost 40ukpounds and 60 cars can attend. For the price u get 4 15minute sessions, one session is with an instuctor in the car with you.
A normal day costs 89 quid and only 30 cars can attend. For this price u get as many sessions as u want or can fit into the day (there are queues sometimes to get on track so it can take 30 or so minutes).
Ive done both a beginners event and a full normal event and was happy with the track time I got but it can vary though depending on driving stds and any noise complaints etc. If any of these happen on the day less cars are allowed on track for each session which can mean longer queues and less track time.I have a std exhaust and the 3 events ive been to I my exhaust has measured 91db, 92db and then a poofy 86db in December 8-). THe limit was around 103db I think.
Try downloading this vid of a caterham following an RS200 at Kemble(5.5MB download). The track constantly changes and is evolving though and it is quite a bit different now. See link.
Hopefully this answers your questions.
Nice photo of you in action.
How much was the trackday?
Also how many cars were there (did you get a lot of track time?)
Are you running a standard exhaust or aftermarket, any problems with noise regs.
Sorry to bombard you with questions but i'm interested to know.
Darran
