I own both a'90 e30m3 and a '00 carrera. I say do the M3. The older Porsche are crap. Unless you get a new car the opposite applies. New BMW cars are crap (see JD power and assoc.) a lot of failures and recalls. This is why I got the Porsche. They really got this car right when they designed it. None of the skidish handling like the older ones. Plus you can't beat watercooled..... The aircooled ones sounded like sewing machines.

To bad new versions of the e30m3 are not available. The e36 & e46 just don't compare!!!!

What would you rather have? E30 M3 or 78-83 Porsche 911 SC? Both are around the same price. The P-car is a bit more expensive.
